Sick trail run out in Hurricane. Don't remember the name but we ran out on the rim trail and just had a nice view of a river from way high up. Stopped half way through and chucked some rocks of and they took FOREVER to hit the water. Legendary. Pretty easy long run and we kept a good pace for trail running. I felt 100% until about the last 10 minutes, and my heart area started hurting and my left back started tensing up pretty bad. It's happened quite a few times, but this one hurt pretty bad. I tried a new pain tolerance technique, and I just focused on my breathing, and ONLY my breathing. It actually really worked when I had all of my attention on my breath, but when I would slip away from focus it would hurt more. I was only able to focus for like 5 minutes, and suffered for the last 5 of the run. Felt perfectly fine once we started running, so it's not like a permanent pain so that's good.

I am so tired. I don't know why but I feel like shizzzzzz. This run wasn't necessarily hard, but I was tired the whole time and I didn't feel good. Probably just fatigue from school and running and whatever I'm not sure. But I have a really bad headache and I'm just really tired but I have a lot of homework so hopefully I survive.

I DID NOT SLEEP LAST NIGHT HOLY CRAP. I had the worst headache when I went to sleep last night and I would close my eyes and open them like 40 minutes minutes later. This literally happened more than 10 times and it frigging sucked. Felt like crap all day and fell asleep in my classes and was just brain dead I don't know. Maybe it's from the twitter fights, maybe from the tests and class assignments. Either way, I felt SUPER good during the workout, and I was very worried because the morning run was really hard becasue of my headache. #BlessedATH
Nice workout consisting of 2x(4x400 and 1x800) at CV pace of about 1:19 per lap. Was within 1:18-1:20 every time and wasn't too tough. The 800s were a little tougher-- not because I couldn't keep the pace but because I got antsy and went too quick on the second lap. Ran about 1-2 seconds faster on both 800s, but that's okay I think. Need to work on feeling the pace just a little better. I think I'm already pretty good at that, but I need to practice for longer distances.

Super cheese run but it was foofing cold. We were joking chanting "INDOORS! INDOORS! INDOORS!" because it was so cold and running inside would be warm. I was totally joking, and so were a few of us, and when we said "Go" to start our run, and like 90% of the guys went into the school and ran inside! I was just kidding and those guys are wussies lol. It really wasn't THAT cold, it was just really windy. OH AND IT SNOWED HOLY COW. But haha no it really wasn't cold enough to run inside. So there were only like 6 of us on the run and we went to the Squaredesack and it was epic.

Dogtown Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) 01:17:18, Place overall: 7, Place in age division: 3 | | 1:30:00

Half marathonnnnnn. Was a fun race and I would've won, but I had to stop twice to take a dump. Just kidding about the winning part, but I bet I would've done better. Ran with Mitch Julien Coach and Alex, and I stopped before Hell Hole to poop, and then I ran really fast and tried to catch up with them, and the stuff was about to fall out of my body so I stopped at Sullivan again and got it all out. Then I ran like 30 seconds slower than our avereage pace for like 2 miles before I realized how slow I was going. But I wasn't sore at all after and I wasn't completely exhausted, so it shows that I could've done better, and I definitely will next year :)
